  • Completed tax organizer (PDF)
  • Income statements: W2s, 1099s, K-1s (all pages and instructions)
  • Stock sales documents, including both purchase price and purchase date
  • Settlement statements (also known as HUD statements), if you sold, purchased, or refinanced a house
  • Rental income and expenses
  • Charitable contribution statements
  • 1098 mortgage interest statement and real estate taxes paid
  • 1098-T for tuition and expenses related to book purchases and lab fees
  • 1098-E student loan interest statement
  • SSNs and DOBs for any (new) dependents
  • Any other document you find relevant for the preparation of your return
  • NEW CLIENTS: a copy of last year’s tax return, both federal and all states
