Always on the go to meet with clients around the region, and even around the country, Bob’s boundless energy has carried him through his almost 30 years’ experience in public accounting. Bob earned his CPA certification in 1988 and received recognition for his outstanding score on the CPA exam. Bob joined the firm in 1993 and became a partner in 1995. Before joining CLH, Bob started his career as a staff accountant at a local public accounting firm and also managed a small public firm. He has CPA certification in Indiana and Illinois and is a member of the Indiana and Illinois State CPA Societies and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Bob focuses on consulting services, and specializes in service companies, transportation and logistics organizations, and construction industries. Hailing from Valparaiso, Indiana, he graduated from Manchester College with a B.S. in accounting.
Bob gives of his time and accounting experience in the community as well. Currently, he enjoys serving as the treasurer of his church. In the past, he officiated as president of inter-collegiate ministries at Manchester College, and served as secretary for the Warsaw Exchange Club. Bob has also served as vice president of the Kiwanis International in North Webster, Indiana, an organization devoted to civic development and improvement. When Bob’s not at the office, you might find him at a local baseball diamond, as he’s been involved with his the Cal Ripken Youth Baseball League for the past 15+ years. He also has enjoyed coaching his sons through their baseball activities, with two sons receiving scholarships to play in college.

Linda’s characteristic determination and magnetic personality have carried her through her 30+ years’ experience in public and private accounting. After joining the firm in 1997, she became a partner in 1999. Currently, she serves as CLH’s audit director and human resource administrator. Linda initiated her career at a small local accounting firm where she earned CPA certification, and then moved to a large regional firm, working as senior audit manager, specializing in the manufacturing industry. Linda has CPA certification in Indiana and Illinois and is a member of the Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan State CPA Societies and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Having grown up in La Porte, Indiana, she graduated with a B.S. with Distinction in Business from Indiana University.
Linda contributes both time and know-how to numerous community organizations. Over the years she has served as President and Treasurer of Dunebrook, a child abuse prevention organization and child advocacy center; Chairperson of Michiana Resources, a rehabilitation agency developed to help individuals with disabilities and/or vocational disadvantages; Treasurer of Leadership LaPorte County; Chairperson of the Regional Development Company; and she also serves on the Brown Mackie College Advisory Board.
In recognition of her services to her profession and community, Linda was awarded the Athena Award in 2006 by the Michigan City Chamber of Commerce. She was named as a finalist for the 2016 Influential Women of Northwest Indiana Award and also nominated for the Outstanding Community Service Award in 2013 from INCPAS. When she’s not strategizing with her clients, Linda can often be found spending time with family, experimenting with new flavors in her kitchen, or tending her garden.
TONY P. GILLISSE, CPA

Focused and attentive to his clients, Tony is known for his conscientiousness. With over 18 years’ experience, Tony joined the CLH team as a manager in December 2011 and is now a partner with the firm. In his work, he directs all types of client engagements, reviews financial statements and tax returns, and assists with business valuations. Originally from Kentwood, Michigan, Tony graduated from Western Michigan University with a B.S. in Accounting in 1999. Tony has CPA certification in Indiana and Illinois and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana and Illinois State CPA Societies.
Tony offers his time and knowledge to the community as well. Presently, Tony serves on the board of directors as treasurer for Dunebrook, a child abuse prevention organization and child advocacy center; in the past, Tony also served as president and treasurer of Dunebrook. Additionally, he leads the business and finance operations of his local church. Previously, Tony served on the board of directors as treasurer for Save the Dunes, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserve, protect, and restore the Indiana dunes. He finds that it worthwhile to be involved in local organizations and understands that it is difficult for organizations to find people to serve from professional services roles. When Tony is not buried in tax returns, he can usually be found enjoying time with his family and rooting for his kids at their sporting events.
JOHN A. CRAIGHEAD, CPA, CVA

John’s work ethic has served him well in his 30+ years’ experience in public and private accounting. He founded the firm in 1992 and currently serves as a senior director. He has CPA certification in the State of Indiana and the State of Illinois, and is also a Certified Valuation Analyst. John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Indiana and Illinois State CPA Societies, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. In his early career, he served as a staff accountant at a large CPA firm; an assistant to the controller at a manufacturing entity; and was a senior staff accountant and owner at a local CPA firm. John grew up in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Indiana, with a B.S. in Accounting.
His financial service doesn’t end at the office. He has served for a number of years as a member of the Board of Directors of the Portage Township YMCA and was also president of the organization for two terms. John has twice received the United Way Agency Volunteer Award and in 2006 received the Greater Portage Chamber of Commerce Humanitarian Award. In 2010, John was the recipient of the Outstanding Volunteer Award from the Porter County Community Foundation. When he’s not consulting with his clients, John enjoys training for triathlons, running long distances, and spending time outdoors hiking, swimming, and home landscaping.
LYNN A. DUTTLINGER, CPA

With nearly 30 years’ experience in public accounting with public accounting firms in the region, Lynn has extensive knowledge in the areas of taxation and planning. She joined CLH in 2003 and now serves as a senior director of the firm. Though she grew up on the Eastern seaboard, she attended Northern Illinois University to earn her Master of Science in Taxation. There, Lynn was a teaching assistant, as well as a writer and proofreader for the CPA Examination Review and GAAP: A Transactions Approach. Lynn has CPA certification in both the State of Indiana and the State of Illinois. Additionally, she is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, including the tax and personal financial planning sections, as well as the Certified Public Accountant Societies in both Indiana and Illinois.
Lynn makes community involvement a priority. Currently, she serves as treasurer for Save the Dunes, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserve, protect, and restore the Indiana Dunes, and she is the secretary-treasurer for the Michigan City Yacht Club, a non-profit that promotes boating safety and education. She is also actively involved with the local Alzheimer’s Association, principally with fundraising, and donates her time and skills to the Michigan City Yacht Club by assisting with both the Club’s accounting needs and the Junior Sail program. In the past, Lynn served as vice president and treasurer of the Northwest Indiana Regional Bus Authority. When she’s not engrossed in tax analysis, Lynn enjoys being outdoors, especially when she is sailing, gardening, or walking her dog, Frankie. She also loves traveling to explore new places with her family.
GRETCHEN A. KALK-CASTRO, CPA

Known for her lively personality and down-to-earth approach, Gretchen initially joined the firm in 2000 through an internship. She served as a project manager for the staff before becoming a director of the firm. A Michigan City native, she graduated from Ball State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and in 2001 graduated with a Master of Science in Accounting. Gretchen is also a member of the Indiana State CPA Society and was involved in the business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi while attending Ball State.
Active in numerous community organizations, Gretchen employs her skills to serve as treasurer of Michiana Resources, Inc., and the Michigan City Area School Vocational Building Trades. Additionally, she serves as a board member with Leadership La Porte County and the Exchangettes, the women’s branch of the Exchange Club. When she’s not busy keeping clients in compliance, she enjoys pursuing fitness goals. At Ball State, Gretchen was a member of the Powerlifting Team and an All-American Powerlifter for three years. Outside of the gym, she is especially fond of a 1935 Ford pickup truck her father built and loves driving her truck and a 1967 Camaro she and her husband purchased on their honeymoon while they took a road trip down Route 66.
